J’s petspaw is owned and operated by Jordan Craig, an ISCC Certified Pet Stylist. Jordan’s love of animals started at a very early age when she insisted on “saving” tiny baby birds that had fallen out of their parents’ nest. Originally planning on becoming a veterinarian, Jordan decided that she wanted to spend her time enjoying animals and receiving their love and affection instead of dealing with animals when they were hurt or upset. This led to her decision to become a pet stylist. Seeing a need for professional grooming services as well as kennel-boarding facilities in her hometown, she purchased a local property that had formerly been a greenhouse for over 100 years. After many weeks of purging greenhouse inventory and a complete remodeling of the main buildings, Jordan’s vision for a full service grooming, boarding and daycare facility became a reality. Demolitions of the rest of the property as well as on-going remodeling efforts are paving the way for Jordan’s future visions. Extended Astroturf play areas, ultimate privacy suites and a membership dog park are on Jordan’s 3-5 year plan. In the meantime, Jordan knows she made the right decision. She truly loves her job and the families she serves. We specialize in creating a relaxing, enjoyable environment for your pet. Whether they are here for a nail trim or extended boarding stay, your pet is treated by a friendly, caring staff who will give them the personal attention they deserve. We are a small, family-owned facility who knows every pet by name.

Our philosophy is quality over quantity. We believe in giving your pet the best grooming or boarding visit they’ve ever experienced. We operate in a very relaxed atmosphere, never rushing through appointments and give every client one-on-one attention - just like you would expect at your favorite spa.

When you enter the front door, you are greeted with a pleasant, clean environment with no chemical or medicinal smells. Our regular grooming clients know their way to the toy box and immediately make themselves at home on our indoor/outdoor furniture or pet beds. Pets are allowed to roam freely as much as possible and spend a lot of their time in our open waiting area. When grooming clients do have to be confined, it is in airy, open cages with comfy rugs or beds complete with fresh water and treats.

Boarding clients are encouraged to explore the boarding and play areas before being tucked into their rooms.
